I’m a photo editor, art director, and multimedia producer with experience across newsrooms, digital media, and tech currently based in San Francisco, California. I’ve worked at The New York Times, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Marshall Project, and Apple, collaborating with incredible teams to create compelling visual narratives.
I started at The New York Times as a senior multimedia producer, helping to integrate video, photography, and interactive storytelling as the newsroom embraced a digital-first model. One of my favorite projects from that time was One in 8 Million, which won an Emmy in 2010. Later, as a photo editor, I shaped the visual direction of breaking news and features. After a move west, I continued this work at The San Francisco Chronicle, collaborating closely with staff photographers and freelancers to document major events like COVID-19, California wildfires, social justice protests, and the 2020 presidential election. More recently, I contribute as a photo editor at Apple, supporting image research and selection for marketing initiatives.
As Art Director at The Marshall Project, I led photography and illustration for investigative and daily coverage, contributing to the 2016 Pulitzer Prize-winning explanatory report, "An Unbelievable Story of Rape."
Beyond my editorial work, I’ve taught video and multimedia courses at RISD, the International Center of Photography, and NYU, and mentored aspiring photojournalists at National Press Photographers Association workshops.
